Lebanon update: Decree 4021 applies from 22 October 2026. Transportation now follows five litres of petrol per attendance day, with a LBP 500,000–800,000 daily band. The calculator exposes the petrol-price assumption until the agreed monthly average is confirmed.
What happens when a rule changes
- Record the primary source, publication date, effective date and any retroactive treatment.
- Create a new version rather than silently replacing historical assumptions.
- Update only the affected variables and explanatory pages.
- Run boundary, worked-example, net-to-gross and employer-cost tests.
- Publish the new version and retain a concise change note.
Evidence standards
Primary legislation, official authority guidance and social-security publications take priority. An anonymised finance workbook can validate how a method is implemented, but a pasted payroll value is not treated as a legal source or formula.
